FOR the fourth year running, SAP New Zealand has recognised its top mySAP partners.
The SAP Partner-Customer Awards of Excellence focus on the successful alignment of IT and business strategy.
Geraldine McBride, CEO and managing director of SAP ANZ, says the alignment of business and IT strategies is emerging as the key driver for IT investment and project development.
“It is the responsibility of the IT vendor community to deliver the technical expertise and vertical domain knowledge that enable business agility and provide a platform for competitive advantage,” she says.
McBride believes the awards acknowledge the importance of vendor relationships by recognising the exceptional project delivery in SAP environments.
Peter Hind, judge and IDC analyst for end-user research, says this year’s awards reflect the changing justification for IT investment that has occurred in the last year.
“Cost cutting continues to be a driver for IT investment but increasingly businesses are looking to IT partners that can deliver business-oriented solutions that improve their ability to respond to change,” he says.
