Speech and imaging vendor Scansoft has launched its first reseller programme in New Zealand through distribution partner Mistral Software. Megan Twentyman, Mistral director, says the programme has several key features that provide resellers with extra resources to help sell Scansoft’s software.
Twentyman says her company will work with Scansoft to provide regular information to resellers and points out that authorised resellers are eligible for direct leads through Mistral.
“Scansoft’s products are really driving the paperless office and there are huge opportunities with volume licensing. Our resellers will be more product savvy which can only benefit end-users,” she says.
Earlier this year, Scansoft released its PDF Converter Professional range, positioning itself as a full-blown competitor to Adobe’s Acrobat. Mistral signed on with Scansoft in 2000 and Twentyman says that although it has a good base of resellers across the country, she is always looking for new partners.
