RAFAEL Technology has secured master distribution rights to the ACT product range.
The company specialises in business software distribution and support and is the authorised distributor of Quicken products.
Kerry Wood, managing director, says ACT is an obvious and symbiotic fit alongside Quicken. “ACT has been a mass-market pro-
duct for the last number of years and I’m expecting strong growth from this,” he says.
Wood says ACT will be distributed across four main channels - corporate resellers, retailers, professional service groups and ACT consultants - and he hopes to grow the reseller network. ACT business manager Ken Prokopec says Rafael Technology was a clear choice as it understands the nuances of the SME market and is committed to providing value-add services to the channel.
Wood says his company has put in place a number of initiatives to support the channel including training and technical services.
Rafael Technology has already kicked off a customer roadshow to increase awareness and demand for ACT products and Wood says the response so far has been very good.
Currently ACT has 30,000 registered users across ANZ.
