D-Link certification back again

D-Link certification back again

Now into its ninth year, the D-Link certified engineer training course returns to New Zealand this month.

Maurice Famularo, D-Link marketing director Australia New Zealand, says this is the first time the course has been held in Christchurch and reflects growing demand from the South Island.

The two-day course costs $250, but Famularo points out discounts are available for Empower channel partners.

“A lot of the feedback we get from these courses is that it’s very good value for money. There’s a lot of knowledge passed on and much of it is non-product specific.”

Participants who successfully complete and pass the online assessments will be accredited as a D-Link certified engineer.

D-Link’s switch, wireless and broadband technologies will be covered, as will new technologies such as VoIP, wireless media player, network attach storage and power over ethernet.

Famularo says the course forms part of the D-Link Academy suite, designed to introduce and maintain skill-sets required in the IT industry, and so far has trained over 1,600 students in Australasia.

The Christchurch course takes place on August 23–24 and places are still available.
