TP-Link speeds wireless range

TP-Link’s new 108M range of wireless networking products, which includes this broadband router, boasts transmission speeds of up to 108Mbit/s over greater distances than previous offerings, the company says.

The range adopts TP-Link’s Super 11G and eXtended Range transmission technologies, which it claims boosts speeds and delivers transmission distances which are two to three times that of normal 11b and 11g products, while transmission ranges are extended by four to nine times.

The range also complies with the IEEE802.11g/b standards and includes a cardbus adapter, USB adapter and PCI adapter. It is distributed by Anyware Computer Accessories.
