EMAIL management software maker Aftermail has achieved Microsoft gold partner status.
The certification gives the Wellington-based company access to additional benefits under Microsoft’s partner programme, through which it can enhance its offerings, says Aftermail chief executive officer Rod Drury.
Aftermail’s software addresses email archiving and compliance challenges and provides a platform to enable line-of-business applications for email, he says.
According to Microsoft, gold-certified ISVs receive increased access to support, services and marketing resources, which ensures they have the competencies and support structures to build applications on top of its software.
Aftermail’s certification comes after recently winning an award for innovation in Microsoft’s ISV and software solutions competency for the Asia-Pacific region.
It was also a finalist in Microsoft’s global ISV contest at its worldwide partner conference in July.
Drury says the company is very pleased to have achieved the certification so soon after being recognised by Microsoft with the award. “Many of our team have a long history working with Microsoft and have been very active in the Microsoft community,” he says.
“It is fantastic to see how these skills and relationships have evolved from delivering services to creating a global software product company.”
Aftermail was founded in 2003 and is represented in the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, Asia and Australia.
