EPSON has released its first multifunction colour laser printer that also includes a colour fax.
The company says the new AcuLaser CX11NF is a true four-in-one device as it also includes a scanner and copier.
In addition, the machine has the fastest printing speed in its price class being able to print up to five colour pages a minute, says Epson’s colour laser business development manager, Anton Napier.
It can print up to 25 monochrome pages a minute and has a first-page-out time of nine seconds in monochrome and 17 seconds in colour.
The CX11NF is designed for busy home or small office environments requiring rapid output times, says Napier.
“It does everything a small office requires from a number of devices rolled into one,” he says.
Epson says the CX11NF uses its highly developed colour image management expertise to send and receive colour faxes, while its enhanced scanning resolution of 9,600dpi is ideal for scanning, photocopying and faxing detailed documents and images in colour and monochrome.
The machine uses Epson’s AcuBrite toner technology, which the company claims produces documents with fine detail, outstanding colour expression and uniform image quality.
The toner uses pigment ink particles, which are distributed evenly through the toner for an increased colour gamut, says Epson.
The CX11NF can handle up to 680 sheets of paper and has recommended retail price of $1,999.
