Cosyn secures global channel

NEW Zealand software developer Cosyn has formalised its relationship with ERP vendor SSA Global, moving to alliance partner status. Trevor Middleton, Cosyn director, says both companies have worked together for many years.

He says taking it to the next level means a better service for customers.

“We’re pretty excited about it. It gives SSA Global a bigger team and access to our skills.” Cosyn also develops peripheral applications — including Audit Trail/400, Powerpage/400 and Spool Manager/400 — and will use SSA Global’s channel to sell internationally.

Graeme Riley, SSA Global Pacific general manager, says it takes years of experience and training to identify and design an integrated software solution that supports business strategy.

“So SSA Global is investing in partnerships with local specialists who can ensure projects deliver the desired benefits,” he says.

Riley believes Cosyn will enable his company to provide increased services in the AS/400 and iSeries area. “Cosyn has been dealing with SSA Global customers for some time now and is well versed in the range and has a considerable pool of skills.”
