Corporate boosts ranks, rebrands as Print IT

IT’S been a busy two months at Corporate Consumables with a raft of new appointments as the company boosts its Auckland office.

Business manager Chris Thorley says the company has always performed well in Wellington and Christchurch but has been inconsistent in Auckland.

He believes they have a stable team which will produce results.

The appointments coincide with Corporate’s rebranding to Print IT.

“We want to get the message across that we now sell hardware and for the first time the company is advertising on TV and radio. We won’t do away with the old name because it’s still recognisable,” he says.

Thorley joined Corporate Consumables from Ingram Micro and prior to that was at Comworth Systems.

Also making the move is former Print Stop account manager Greg Hopa who is managing West Auckland, and David Soloman, moving from Portables Plus to become service engineer.

Deage Kalsbeek, Angela Hassall and Andrew Jackson have all joined from Comworth Systems, following ex-Comworth general manager Ian McKenzie.

Bernadett Csaszer, Comworth sales and marketing manager, admits the going was tough without a full sales team but says the vacancies have now been filled.

“When Ian left a number of staff decided to join him and that left a bit of a gap but we now have a great team that is full of enthusiasm,” she says.

Csaszer adds that Comworth is in a similar situation with ex-Ingram Micro staffer Lloyd Jenkins, now national sales manager, bringing several staff with him from the distributor.
