Dave Adams moves to Revera

Newly rebranded IT infrastructure and storage reseller Revera (formerly Hosting and Datacentre Services) has appointed Dave Adams as business development manager.

An industry veteran, Adams has over 20 years’ experience in IT — most recently as storage business development manager at Express Data — and is a former Network Appliance country manager.

Adams is responsible for storage hardware and software sales and says his role is to grow the product end of Revera’s business in the northern region.

While 70% of Revera’s revenue is derived from its datacentre and utility IT infrastructure services, the company says it is committed to reselling storage products.

Hosting and Datacentre Services became 100% locally owned and was rebranded Revera last November after it purchased the 49% stake Hitachi Data Systems held in the company.

Wayne Norrie, Revera CEO, told Reseller News his company is now in a position to resell storage products from other vendors.

“Although the Hitachi product is brilliant there are one or two things not in the range,” he said.
