Vendor boosts staff count

Networking and security vendor Juniper Networks has bolstered the number of staff looking after its local channel.

The company has appointed Michael Paul as a channel account manager for New Zealand. Based in Melbourne, Paul also looks after Victoria.

Meanwhile, Matt Taylor has been added to the company’s Auckland team as an account manager to help partners with direct touch sales and Vance McIndoe has joined as an engineer in Wellington.

Sander Dales, Juniper’s Sydney-based channel director, says the recent appointments have significantly increased the company’s level of support for the New Zealand channel.

“We are very much enjoying things in the channel side. It is going very well,” he says.

Juniper now has four staff in New Zealand, in addition to three people who work on the brand at distributor Ingram Micro.
