Network security access control specialist Infoexpress is using distributor Intechnology to stamp a footprint in the Australasian market.
Last month Intechnology appointed John Sims as its New Zealand channel business development manager.
Todd Nakano, Infoexpress co-founder, believes there are huge opportunities for resellers with specific expertise in the VPN, WLAN, WAN and LAN areas.
“Traditionally my company has dealt in the enterprise market but now wants to take a step towards the small to medium sector and will work through the channel to achieve this,” he says.
Nakano says Intechnology offers his company a strong channel focus and technical expertise and hopes the distributor will sign up to four gold partners in the region.
“Infoexpress plays in a space that’s very hot right now. Cisco has done a fantastic job of educating the market and, according to analysts, there are aggressive growth prospects.”
Nakano hopes the attraction of strong margins will lure potential partners to investigate Infoexpress’s CyberGatekeeper product family.
“Resellers have the ability to make money and by going through a single distributor I hope to maintain good margins.”
Not only can partners sell products across an organisation, says Nakano, but they can ramp up services revenue by maintaining a customer’s security policies.
