Sage CRM brings alliance product to partners

Sage CRM is poised to bring the product from an alliance with fellow Australian data communication specialist CPS to its New Zealand channel.

Essentially, CPS’s Televantage product, a software-based phone and call centre system, has been integrated with Sage’s Saleslogix customer relationship management (CRM) system.

Roslyn Muir, Sage CRM’s regional partner manager, says both companies were already working together on joint projects and made the decision to formalise the relationship.

“CPS has a fantastic product that, combined with Saleslogix, provides medium-sized businesses with a total end-to-end communications solution. It’s a great opportunity for Sage partners to be able to offer something else to their customers,” she says.

When used together Muir says the products allow end-users to achieve closer alignment between sales and customer service departments by streamlining the workflow process.

Muir believes the partnership adds value to her company’s channel with the potential for partners to increase their revenue.

“Our partners will go to a customer in order to solve a specific business problem. Once the customer sees the benefits they often want a company-wide implementation.
