Kyocera's Beemer lures resellers

Kyocera's Beemer lures resellers

Resellers are already responding in droves to Kyocera’s latest incentive scheme.

In a programme launched earlier this month, the printer company is giving authorised resellers the chance to win the keys to a BMW Z4 convertible for a month.

“Kyocera is thrilled with registration numbers to date — we had 34 resellers sign up on day one and at this stage over 100 have registered. It’s a real programme with real benefits and a real car,” says David Finn, Kyocera managing director.

Finn says the promotion is quite simple — sell a bucket load of printers and get the car for a month.

Additionally any authorised Kyocera reseller gets a free Qantas frequent flier card — worth about A$80 — and earns points on all printer sales.

The promotion runs until December 2006.

Finn points out the easiest set of keys to win is the first; after that the competition gets tough.
