Partners wanted for new VoIP product

Communications distributor Amtel is looking for a small number of elite resellers to take on its latest product set.

Amtel has secured the exclusive local distribution rights for Vonexus VoIP software and is ready to establish a partner channel.

Colin Steeples, Amtel managing director, says the Vonexus enterprise interaction centre is 100% based on Microsoft and runs on a Windows server.

With that in mind Steeples is eager to talk to Microsoft value-add partners.

“Convergence has caused a lot of crossover. The traditional voice reseller doesn’t understand IT and vice versa but which is the easier to teach? We figure it’s easier to train the data guys about voice,” he says.

Steeples says Vonexus is tightly integrated to the Microsoft platform, from applications to servers and mobile devices.

He says the margins are substantial and although partnerships will be limited Amtel’s efforts to create qualified leads will be tireless.
