Netgear adds IT Wholesale

Netgear has added IT Wholesale (ITW) to its list of distributors.

James Caldwell, Netgear region manager, says the company has branched out and was looking for a more specialised telecommunications distributor.

“We added SoftPrint last year because of its specialisation, and with our telecommunications products growing we felt it was right to add IT Wholesale as a new distributor.”

John Dunbar, ITW general manager, says Netgear presented great products and the company is happy to have it on board. ITW will offer the full range of Netgear’s products.

“We basically have a different channel model to other IT-focused companies, and we can utilise that towards Netgear’s range of products.”

Dunbar says a growing market for networked storage at home and gaming peripherals played a part in the new partnership.

Netgear already distributes through Ingram Micro and SoftPrint. ITW has added its new partner to a range of other brands including IBM, Lenovo, Hewlett-Packard and Canon.
