Softprint Interactive took over the Nintendo account from Monaco effective 1 September. Bruce Millar, Softprint managing director, says the company is very excited to be working with Nintendo on its upcoming release.
“It will be a great bundle in good time for Christmas. We’re bundling the console with five games, a remote control and the Nunchuck controller, making it good value.”
Millar says the new console will revolutionise the way people interact in games. The consumer can move the controller in 3D space and the console will transform these moves to the game. “We think we can take Nintendo to the next level. We have a fantastic product and we’re just working on the marketing at the moment.”
Developers are promising an additional 20 games between the launch date and 31 December, with a revamp of the Zelda series.
Sony’s Playstation 3 is now expected to be released in March next year, not in mid-November as previously expected.
