D-Link DSL G804-V Wireless ADSL VPN Router

Touted as the prefect small business router for the typical New Zealand office, the D-Link DSL G804-V wireless ADSL router is said to be a high speed and versatile device.

This router provides all the functions that a small business needs to establish a reliable and convenient high-speed remote link to the outside world, says D-Link.

Featuring integrated ADSL2/2+ supporting up to 24Mbps download speed and a host of security features, the router can be deployed at a branch office for secure connection to a corporate head office over the internet, states D-Link.

Secure transmission over the internet is delivered with an integrated triple data encryption standard (3DES) accelerator, which provides hardware-based VPN protection, while VPN tunnelling protocols privatise communication channels.

Supported data encapsulation, encryption and authentication options include DES, 3DES and advanced encryption standard (AES).

In addition to VPN, the router provides integrated firewall security using stateful packet inspection and hacker attack logging for denial of service attack protection.

The integrated 802.11g wireless LAN supports wireless speeds of up to 54Mbps, while the DSL G804-V also includes four 10/100Mbps ethernet switch ports.

RRP: $359.95
