Eclipse expands with Pivotal

Eclipse Computing will boost its New Zealand resources after merging with global CRM provider Pivotal Corporation.

Eclipse, a business unit of Australia-based UXC and a large enterprise software reseller, has an Auckland office along with eight others in Australia and Fiji.

Sales director Martin Wildsmith says it has the largest number of dedicated Pivotal consultants in the region — ten of its 180 staff total — and will build on its pre-sales and technical account teams.

“We have quite a large client base in New Zealand, with one to two people in our Auckland office,” says Wildsmith, adding that Eclipse has aspirations of expansion into Wellington.

Pivotal executive director Peter Devine says his company wants to enhance the delivery of its national and international services and service programmes.
