Raritan has added two new models to its Dominion Series KVM (keyboard, video, mouse)-over IP product line and new software to enhance remote server management performance. Supporting 64 servers, the new Dominion KX464 is the industry’s highest port density KVM-over-IP switch, says Raritan.
The KX464 supports one local and four remote users and provides dual power supplies with automatic failover and dual LAN ports.
Raritan's new 32-port KX132, meanwhile, supports one local and one remote user and is the lowest price per port switch in the Dominion KX line.
The high-port densities of both new switches make them the most cost-effective and scalable KVM-over-IP offerings in the market, claims Raritan.
It says by managing more servers per switch, companies can save by reducing the number of switches, IP addresses and network drops, while installation and maintenance costs are also reduced.
Both models feature the new Dominion KX 1.4 software, which delivers analogue-like video performance with IP-based access and control, with features such as automatic colour calibration, faster video response and Intelligent Mouse Synchronisation that eliminates the task of adjusting mouse motion and acceleration settings manually.
