Sage has launched all major components in the latest version of its ACT! customer and contact management software simultaneously, saying resellers now do not have to wait for the products to be upgraded separately.
ACT! by Sage 2007 (v9.0) is offered in separate versions for small teams of up to 10 people; larger workgroups with multiple users; web-based users; and users of Palm OS handheld devices.
Sage says ACT! 2007 offers the most diverse set of deployment options, application integrations and feature enhancements to date.
A major new feature is said to be direct integration with Microsoft Outlook, enabling users to send email via Outlook while in ACT!
ACT!’s strengthened platform, built on the latest version of Microsoft’s SQL Server 2005 and the .NET 2.0 framework, it said to greatly increase operational speed and load time.
Other enhancements include a split-panel note preview; a look-up indicator preview panel; advanced keyword search; improved email history identification; and the ability to specify links between contact and company fields.
ACT! by Sage can be customised for specific business environments and offers turnkey integration with common business applications.
