GFI launches partner programme

Network and content security company GFI Software has released its partner programme for New Zealand.

GFI has improved its sales margins to differentiate the strategies used by the company’s value added resellers (VAR). VARs can now qualify for gold, silver and bronze partnership levels.

Michael Early, GFI’s regional manager for Australia and New Zealand, says the company wants to offer resellers higher margins.

“We want our resellers to make a profit through higher margins, but also give them opportunities to add value to our product.”

GFI currently has two value-added distributors; Wellington based Observatory Crest and Soft Solutions in Auckland.

“Education and certification is very important to us at the moment,” says Early. “We want our resellers to know about all nine products we offer. Reseller will also be supported by our Adelaide office. We are very reseller focused and want our customers to go through our partners.”

GFI is looking to grow the small and medium business space, and will be looking to resellers for sales performance placing them in one of the three categories.

Gold partners with the company will be eligible for participation in beta programs as well as receiving benefits such as qualified leads and a dedicated GFI account manager. Partners on all levels will also be set at a discount level.

Early says the partner programme has also been announced in Australia as well as Hong Kong. Sales and technical content are available to partners from GFI’s website.
