Creative's Zen Vision W

Creative's Zen Vision W

Creative Labs looks set to attack a crowded media player market with the release of its Zen Vision W portable video, photo and mp3 player.

Features such as a 4,3” screen, 16:9 format and the ability to carry up to 240 hours of video or 15.000 songs could make this a serious contender in the market. The Vision W also supports Compact Flash memory cards, enabling keen photographers to store their images on the device.

The Creative ZEN Vision W supports a wide selection of video formats, including MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4-SP, MJPEG and Xvid, for playback of video clips and movies downloaded from the Internet. The Creative ZEN Vision W also supports digitised home movies transferred from the PC. The removable rechargeable battery provides up to 4.5 hours of video playback

The Vision W will be available in two sizes, 30 GB and 60 GB. It features an onboard microphone for voice recording and an organizer that will synchronise with Microsoft Outlook. It will connect via USB2 canle, as well as a composite AV- out connection for sharing photos.
