Creative TravelSound Popz

Creative TravelSound Popz

There is an abundance of small form battery hungry speakers designed for Mp3 players on the market today. Creative Labs has an issue with batteries and has designed speakers that will run off the power from the connected player

The TravelSound Popz speakers draw power from the portable music player through its headphone jack, making these speakers environmentally friendly. Drawing power from the MP3 player has its backdrops, but Creative says it will not affect the playtime significantly.

Being small enough to be slipped into a hand bag or clipped on a belt, the speakers are easy to bring on travel or to the bech. There is a protective casing guard against knocks and bumps and a zipper keeps all cabling in the protective casing and allows users to unzip the case for instant use.

There is a built in high sensitivity micro driver in the speakers to boost output, eliminating the need for headphones or externally powered speakers. The Creative Popz speakers range is of course compatible with Creative’s own range of Zen MP3 players.

RRP: $49
