Eagle Education, currently providing training for Sun Microsystems, will now offer courses for CA staff, partners and end users. National sales account manager Chris Blockley says the courses are developed and taught by CA staff and will be run at Eagle’s Auckland and Wellington facilities. Eagle Education is a subsidiary of Eagle Technology Group. As well as supplying the venue, hardware and equipment, Eagle Education will work with CA employees and managers to plan training requirements. “These are for anyone who needs CA training, whether that’s an end user, a partner or any new internal staff,” Blockley says. CA country manager Stuart Preston says it has traditionally carried out in-house training on an ad hoc basis. “We’re a small operation in New Zealand and we don’t have the infrastructure of experience to do this kind of thing.” He says Eagle Education will provide more structured, regular training.
