Quicken has picked up an exclusive distribution deal for time-recording software metriQ.
Focusing on a number of vertical industries that bill for time used, metriQ is already in use with the Auckland District Law Society.
“One of the biggest challenges facing people who charge their time is accurate time reporting,” says Quicken CEO Kerry Wood. “Remembering how long they worked on each project, either in minutes or in time increments, and generating accurate timesheets at the push of a button is fundamental to profitability.”
The software is automatic and time data can be exported to most standard formats such as accounting software and invoicing programs.
David Samuel, director of metriQ in New Zealand says the company selected Quicken because the product fitted Quicken’s distribution model.
“Quicken is active in retail and has a focused, dynamic channel selling products that complement metriQ.”
