Chillisoft opens Melbourne office to push Death2spam

Auckland based software distributor Chillisoft has opened its first Australian office in Melbourne.

The Australian arm of the company will initially focus on developing channel partners for Death2spam, a New Zealand-developed, third-generation spam filtering service used in some 10 countries.

Geoff Cossey, Chillisoft’s group managing director, says Chillisoft Australia will initially support sales of spam filtering technology Death2Spam and its own web-based CRM system i-Track.Net.

“Partnering with technology innovators and developing business systems and processes that make us extremely easy to deal with are instrumental to our success,” says Cossey. “Replicating this success formula in Australia makes complete sense, particularly now that our customer footprint there continues to grow.”

Russ Olsen, an IT veteran in Australasia has been appointed to head the Melbourne office.

In New Zealand Chillisoft also distributes European anti-threat software Eset NOD32.
