Juniper has experienced significant growth in New Zealand, according to data released for 2005-2006.
In the enterprise market, which has been a focus for the company over the last year, Juniper experienced more than 56 percent growth. It grew 109 percent in Q4 2006, compared to the previous year.
“We have cemented our channel programme,” says Sander Dales, channels director for New Zealand and Australia. “We are really starting to see results from the last partner conference we had in 2006.”
Regional partners are now counting 272, up 30 percent from 209 in 2005. Most of these partners are at a reseller level.
There were 44 new certified people across sales, presales and technical. In Australia there were 506.
“We had transactions with 409 partners in 2006, which was up from 300 in 2005,” says Dales.
