Executive Software nails Vista certification

Executive Software has gained bragging rights after becoming the first developer in New Zealand to have a product certified for use with Microsoft’s Windows Vista.

The product, EAP Executive, was developed for EAP Services, a leading New Zealand employee assistance program (EAP) provider. It has now achieved Vista certification for a particular deployment technology called Clickonce.

CEO Bert Haggren says the company is committed to helping clients with the new operating system.

“It’s clear that Vista delivers real benefits, and we are committed to helping our clients take full advantage of them.”

EAP Executive is currently set for a new release, scheduled for early 2007. In 2006 the product was introduced to the Australian market and plans are now underway to add case management to its functionality and to extend its application to companies providing occupational rehabilitation services.

EAP Executive won a Computerworld Excellence Award in 2005, and the product was featured by Microsoft at its launches in New York and Paris.
