HP buys web software developer Tabblo

Hewlett-Packard (HP) has reached an agreement to acquire privately-owned Tabblo, a US developer of web-based software

The acquisition, subject to unspecified closing conditions, is expected to be completed within the next few weeks, HP said on Thursday in a statement.

No financial details were disclosed.

Tabblo's technology allow users to arrange and print text, graphics and photos from the web.

Targeting a growing market for simple, efficient internet-based printing systems, HP plans to make its web printing technology available for companies to integrate in their web sites.
