AVG Small Business Server

AVG Small Business Server

Famous for providing free antivirus software to the general public, AVG is now aiming its latest product at the SME market.

AVG Small Business Server (SBS) edition adds protection to its Internet Security and Anti-malware suites, addressing the network security needs of SMEs. The SBS edition products provide users with comprehensive protection for their network, individual workstations and servers, and includes a free licence for one server.

It also features a unique tool, AVGadmin, for remote administration. The new tool can be essential for SMEs that employ third parties to perform network administration and security. Remote administration permits the network manager to make critical security updates immediately without requiring an on-site office visit.

Based on AVG Internet Security Network Edition 7.5, SBS is specifically designed to meet the important security needs of small businesses protecting data on individual workstations as well as on email and file servers. It contains anti-virus and anti-spyware protection, personal firewall and anti-spam protection.
