'Death by Powerpoint' has become a well-known industry saying, and Microsoft has set out to spice up the powerpoint expereince with lasers and vibration.

Adding to its presentation range, Microsoft has released Presenter 3000 to enhance Powerpoint presentations. Made for MS PowerPoint 2003, with support for Vista, the product focuses on the presentation and reporting end of the market.

It features a laser pointer for highlighting document parts. The small LCD screen has a built-in timer, making sure you don’t spend too much time on those slides. Another feature is a vibration alert to remind presenters of the time left for their showcase.

Operating on the standard 2.4GHz range, the Presenter 3000 has a remote angle of 50 degrees. with a battery life of six months.
