Epson Stylus Photo 1410

Epson Stylus Photo 1410

Epson has released its latest photo printer in the Stylus series, the Photo 1410. The printer is aimed at the home and small business market, with the ability to print A3 formats.

It features a Micropiezo print head and advanced variable sized droplet technology for ink droplets as small 1.5 picolitres. In comparison, current high-end printers are said to have ink droplets down to one picolitre. The printer features six independent ink cartridges, meaning users only have to replace the colours as they need to be.

It allows for direct printing from digital cameras and some multimedia viewers through a USB 2.0 port. Addressing the problem of fading digital prints, the 1410 uses Claria photographic ink to add richness, depth and clarity to printed photos. Epson claims when combined with the right paper photos can last up to 200 years when stored in an album, exceeding the lifespan of traditional prints.

RRP: $799
