Ingram expo to 'join the dots'

Ingram Micro is touting its showcase exhibition as the year's largest IT reseller event, with 50 exhibitors confirmed.

The theme of this years showcase is ‘Bringing it together’, which focuses on convergence and solution integration.

Some vendors will use the event to launch new products and pricelists, as well as running seminars and workshops, while Cisco will be launching a new channel initiative with a programme called ‘Pimp the SMB’.

The event will also feature 24 free seminars hosted by around 18 vendors including Microsoft, HP, Kingston, Konica Minolta, CA, AMD, Lexmark and Lenovo.

Last year Showcase attracted 43 exhibitors; 2005 being the biggest to date with 53 vendors at the event.

Showcase kicks off in Auckland next Tuesday, 3 July at the North Shore Events Centre and travels to

Wellington on Friday 6 July at the TSB Bank Area. It wraps up in Christchurch on Monday 9 July at the Christchurch Convention Centre.
