Trend Micro has added new features to its channel programme to further support and attract new resellers and partners.
Dave Patnaik, Trend Micro’s SME director for Australia and New Zealand says the company is reworking its channel programme and making it easier for partners to access.
“There are three basic points to the new parts. Making partners more profitable, help them further understand our products and provide a portal for them where they can more easily monitor their customers.”
The SME support portal is an online resource providing partners and customers easier access to technical expertise and information. It is accessed through a single web interface and will provide users with the latest patches, builds and service packs.
Patnaik says the programme, which has been implemented in both countries and throughout Asia, is of tremendous value to the partners and says Trend Micro has secured good feedback from partners.
“We have received great feedback from some of the Asian partners who were with the programme early on. I think this has great value for partners and resellers and I think it might attract more partners to us as well.”
Trend Micro is also launching its new remote manager in the programme, which the company has dubbed ‘Worry Free’.
The new, global customer management tool has been designed to enable partners to manage multiple customers from a single, hosted remote console that can be accessed anywhere, 24 hours a day.
