High Impact course replay in October

Business advisory firm WHK Gosling Chapman (WHK GC) says the company will run a second High Impact programme for the ICT sector in New Zealand, commencing in October 2007.

Damian Bennett, business growth marketing coordinator at WHK GC says there was so much interest in the last course the company decided to run it again.

“We have had a lot of interest in this, hence we are bringing it back. We are really trying to focus on smaller players in the ICT sector, especially those who are looking to export and grow internationally.”

The company is currently looking for 15 Auckland-based ICT businesses to grow and improve profitability, as chosen by WHK GC.

It is fully funded by New Zealand Trade and Enterprise and is free to those businesses selected to attend. To qualify for the programme businesses must fall within the ICT sector, have a track record of success and be aiming to export.

The programme focuses on business development programmes such as costing and pricing strategies, stretegic planning and building the brand. In addition, there is a component on intellectual property protection, open to all ICT companies in Auckland.

The four-day High Impact programme will be run in Auckland, spread over a month, from 31 October. An early expression of interest is recommended with the closing date for applications on 9 October.

Malwarebytes shoots the breeze with channel, prospects

A Kumeu, Auckland, winery was the venue for a Malwarebytes event for partner and prospect MSPs - with some straight shooting on the side. The half-day getaway, which featured an archery competition, lunch and wine-tasting aimed at bringing Malwarebytes' local New Zealand and top and prospective MSP partners together to celebrate recent local successes, and discuss the current state of malware in New Zealand. This was also a unique opportunity for local MSPs to learn about how they can get the most out of Malwarebytes' MSP program and offering, as more Kiwi businesses are targeted by malware.
