Menashe Mukhtar, Allot Communications international vice president of sales, will visit New Zealand this week to speak at a reseller function hosted by Renaissance.
The vendor specialises in IP service optimisation based on deep packet inspection, and Menashe has extensive experience in bandwidth management. Renaissance’s business development manager David Wildish says applications such as VoIP and Quality of Service require extra bandwidth, which can be freed up by utilising existing capacity better. “It’s likely that your existing bandwidth is quite sufficient. You just need to utilise it in better ways. That’s where traffic shaping and bandwidth management come in,” he says.
Renaissance is hosting the breakfast sessions in Auckland on 21 August and Wellington on 23 August. It is also giving away a US Robotics ADSL Router to one attendee at each event.
