Software update for newer iMacs

Apple has released iMac Software Update v1.1. It's available for download from Apple's web site and through the Software Update system preference.

The update is intended for Intel-based iMacs released in mid-2007. Those include 20- and 24-inch models equipped with 2.0, 2.4 and 2.8GHz processors.

The update provides "important bug fixes," according to Apple. It requires Mac OS X v10.4.10.
