Brocade is promoting a recently-launched incentive programme that rewards resellers’ product sales with money on a debit card.
Australia/New Zealand regional manager Graham Schultz says the scheme was introduced globally about two months ago, but is now being formally launched with more promotion.
He says the simplicity of the programme is its strength.
“One of the beauties of the programme is it’s very easy to understand and administer. There are a lot of programmes that are tied into marketing activity, but this is really just an incentive for selling the product and a way to put money in the back pocket of the reseller.”
Once salespeople at partner organisations register with Brocade, they are sent the debit card and go online to submit eligible sales and gain a certain number of points. Each point is worth US$1.
Products included in the programme are SAN directors, switches, routers and extensions, FAN products and wide area file services offerings.
