SAP has launched an all-in-one solution to fast-track adoption of ERP (enterprise resource planning) for mid-size companies in New Zealand.
SAP says the offering will be localised and pre-built, so mid-size companies can rapidly deploy ERP via a best-practice methodology. Local business requirements such as charts of accounts, taxation requirements including GST and defined local data are pre-configured and built into the package, which has been road tested by the local partner community, it says.
“The SAP all-in-one solution makes it easier and more affordable for New Zealand’s mid-size companies, working with our channel partners, to access, deploy and start realising the benefits of SAP software,” says managing director Ian Black.
“All-in-one solutions will be welcomed by growing mid-size companies in New Zealand looking to improve their business operations but worried about ‘betting the business’ on a large system implementation.”
There are four main components: step-by-step implementation procedures, reusable documentation for scope evaluation, project team and end-user training, and complete pre-configuration settings.
