Craig Stoddart has resigned from as country manager for EMC New Zealand, after less than two years in the role. He will exit the position in mid-October. According to a statement released on Monday, Stoddart is leaving the information infrastructure vendor due to personal reasons, which were not detailed. David Webster managing director of EMC Australia and New Zealand will be acting as EMC NZ’s country manager until a replacement for Stoddart is found. In the statement, Webster says EMC wishes Stoddart the best with his future endeavours.
Stoddart joined EMC as country manager at the start of 2006 from systems integrator Axon where he was general manager of sales and service — a position he held since 2004. His resignation comes days after Microsoft country manager Helen Robinson announced she would leave her role at the end of October.
