Australian-based Mid-Comp is interested in signing up local partners for its Stockman and Odyssey intelligent supply chain solution software.
But CEO Steve Bridges says this will be reliant on whether there is enough interest this side of the Tasman.
“We’re not planning to run any seminars yet, but if we had a company based in Auckland and another in Wellington keen to take on Stockman or Odyssey then we would look at exclusivity in those regions.”
Bridges says resellers interested in taking on the products need to contact the company’s Australian manager Adam Turner, who looks after the local market.
The Stockman system is perfect for small and medium enterprises, says Bridges.
“We’ve had a lot of interest from the US, South America and China around these supply chain solutions, because the product delivers on functionality and price.
“It’s also the first truly agnostic software and will run with all kinds of operating systems,” he claims.
The software was recently chosen by agribusiness giant Elders in Australia in preference to a large number of competing systems that included SAP and Lawson Software, says Bridges.
Stockman is a fully integrated, real-time distribution and accounting system focusing on supply-chain efficiency. Built to run via standard web browsers, the solution provides integration between all elements of the supply chain.
