Fuji Xerox Printers DocuPrint C3290 FS

Fuji Xerox Printers has released what it claims is the first colour multi-function printer for small to medium workgroups and medium-sized businesses priced under $3000.

Retailing at $2599, the DocuPrint C3290 FS is aimed squarely at this segment, says the company.

The DocuPrint C3290 FS is said to print at speeds of up to 20 pages a minute in colour and 30 pages a minute in monochrome, with a first-page-printed time of 16 seconds.

With a small footprint and single front door access for easy installation, it is a suitable option for workgroups that need a practical high-performance printer, says Fuji Xerox.

The printer comes standard with Fuji Xerox’s DocuWorks document management software, which it says makes it easier for businesses to manipulate and manage documents securely.

DocuWorks 6.2 includes password protection and public key infrastructure to keep documents safe and validate recipients. It even allows users to define whether recipients can print or forward the document in order to maximise security and control over document duplication and theft.

The C3290 FS also features a CCD [charge-coupled device] scanner which scans up to 9600 dpi.

RRP: $2599

Distributors: Ingram Micro
