Blackberry Curve 8310 Smartphone

Blackberry fans can now get all their email anywhere they go – as well as being able to pinpoint exactly where they are.

Research In Motion has added GPS capability to its latest Blackberry smartphone – the Curve 8310, available only from Vodafone.

The Curve 8310 provides “out-of-the-box” support for a wide variety of location-based applications and services and can be coupled with third party mapping applications, to enable direction finding and route planning.

And to ensure all these hot features don’t send mobile phone bills soaring , Vodafone plans to release special data-pricing packages.

For emailing, the Curve 8310 features a QWERTY and a built-in spell checker with a customisable dictionary. It also allows viewing of email attachments.

The channel came together for the inaugural Reseller News Emerging Leaders Forum in New Zealand, created to provide a program that identifies, educates and showcases the upcoming talent of the ICT industry. Hosted as a half day event, attendees heard from industry champions as keynoters and panelists talked about future opportunities and leadership paths and joined mentoring sessions with members of the ICT industry Hall of Fame.
