Five-year extension for Datamail with Right Now

Right Now Technologies and New Zealand partner Datamail are seeking continued growth in key markets, after renewing their exclusive agreement for a further five years.

Datamail group general manager of sales Nick Fox says its Right Now division is achieving about 40 to 45 percent year on year growth, slightly ahead of Right Now’s international rate.

It has been growing the local customer base from its own list and with the help of Right Now, Fox says. Customers include public sector organisations such as the Department of Labour, tertiary education institutions like Auckland and Waikato Universities, the AA and Datamail owners New Zealand Post.

“The Datamail group customer base is one of the key things we’ve brought to the table. We’ve reached nine of our top 10 customers, but we’re also growing outside our existing customer base where in those instance we’re very much Right Now-led. For example Right Now is very strong in the universities.”

Right Now’s Asia Pacific vice president Alison Higgins-Miller says the public sector, travel, higher education organisations and retail are fast-growing markets.
