Arming partners with fresh sales strategies is the motivation behind F5 releasing a web-based, partner solution training programme. Regional sales director Michael Dodds says F5 will be releasing the programme in New Zealand in early December.
“The benefits are that it will help our partners target customers better and know how to make use of sales opportunities. F5 developed and used this programme internally and we thought releasing it to partners will help them mirror our success.”
Dodds says the programme takes a holistic view of customers’ individual application delivery networks, along with their specific goals and business objectives.
“The IT industry can sometimes be more technical and complicated than it needs to be. As F5 sells a vast range of products, this programme will make it easier for partners to understand the products and the best ways to sell them.”
Programme courses are split into two areas; solution selling and products and solutions. After passing both assessment exams, sales staff will be qualified as F5 Solution Ready.
The company has a number of local partners including HP, IBM, Gen-i and Datacraft.
