Two kiwi channel members recently lived it up on a Western Australia holiday thanks to Lenovo’s Legends 2.0 incentive programme. Wellington-based Gen-i business development manager Brandon Dixon and Rod Sinclair from Focus Computers in Invercargill, qualified for the prize by accumulating points at the half way mark of the scheme. Resellers who lead points gathering at the finish can earn a trip to Kruger National Park in South Africa next May.
Dixon, who secured the relational business partner (larger corporate accounts) spot on the Australia trip, says it was very well organised and included a range of fun experiences.
Amid 35 to 40 degree heat, he says participants rode camels along a bay housing the occasional nudist, rode a hovercraft, ate exotic restaurant dishes containing kangaroo, crocodile, barramundi, pearl meat and (ironically) camel, and went sightseeing in light aircraft. “Lenovo spared no expense to make sure everyone was looked after and we did some fantastic activities,” Dixon says. Points are accumulated by selling eligible products and completing online training. Australia/New Zealand small business and consumer director David Nicol says the programme was relaunched to build on the success of last year and make it easier for partners to be rewarded.
