Extreme surveillance opportunity for MPA

MPA is eying channel opportunities after being made a distributor of Mobotix IP video surveillance systems.

Company director Steve Macmillan says he is enthusiastic about the opportunity to demonstrate Mobotix’s capabilities to the channel.

“We are seeing great interest from resellers in the capabilities of the units, such as their support for IP telephony, local on-camera storage options, exposure-zone settings and free-of-charge MxControlCentre video management software. Our relationship with Mobotix gives us the opportunity to educate and certify IT and security personnel in a coordinated approach.”

In a statement Mobotix says MPA was selected because of its security infrastructure offering.

Headquartered in Germany, Mobotix specialises in outdoor surveillance products that are able to withstand extreme conditions, without requiring outdoor housings or climate protection systems. The company has been operating since 1999 and is one of the world’s largest suppliers of IP surveillance offerings
