WAN application delivery specialist Blue Coat Systems will be running education services on managing its products for local partners early next year.
The company has partnered with IT service support firm Red Education, to deliver the training on Blue Coat ProxySG appliances for WAN application delivery and secure web gateway development.
Australia and New Zealand regional manager Wayne Neich says the programme will be run here as soon as enough responses are received.
“Hopefully, we’ll be running the programme in February next year. Last time we ran the training we had 50 partners turn up which was fantastic. If we get enough respondents we’ll be holding courses in Auckland and Wellington.”
Blue Coat Systems has a number of local partners including Infinity Solutions, IBM and Asnet. Neich says the company partnered with Red Education to meet demand.
“Because we’ve had a lot of growth, we needed to scale our training to meet growing customer demand.”
Red Education is an Australian training provider for F5, Fortinet, Aruba and Blue Coat in both Australia and New Zealand. There are three Red Education classes covering Blue Coat appliances. One class focuses on WAN optimisation that takes one day. Blue Coat ProxySG is covered by the Blue Coat Certified Proxy Administrator (BCCPA) course that runs for two days, while the Blue Coat Certified Proxy Professional (BCCPP) course runs for three days.
At the completion of any of the courses, the participant receives a BCCPA or BCCPP certificate.
