Three initiatives to secure Nuance market growth

Speech and imaging product vendor Nuance Communications wants to improve local partner relationships with three separate initiatives. These include a new online partner portal, an updated volume licence programme and inaugural partner awards to be held next year.

Australia and New Zealand channels manager Vicki Rigg, says the initiatives are a result of feedback she received after visiting ANZ partners.

“It’s all about being able to access information and having the sales tools they need 24-7, which is what our new partner portal will do. Our bimonthly newsletter will go out to partners with promotions that are happening and also information and tips to help them sell the products.”

The updated volume licence programme allows organisations to maximise savings on Nuance desktop products, with low initial purchase requirements and upgrade assurance options.

“Previously we had a system where if customers wanted to purchase more licences, they only had 60 days to get it at the same pricing structure. We’ve changed that to 12 months, so it’s a big benefit to end-users.”

Rigg says the partner awards night will be held in Sydney in September next year and is open to local resellers.

“The partner initiatives are all about new business and expanding our width and depth in Australia and New Zealand. We’re looking for new resellers ranging from SME’s to large corporates and government resellers as well.”

Nuance products are distributed by Auckland-based Mistral Software. Rigg says the company has approximately 120 local resellers.
